In 1991 Gusto Clothing was established, designing and producing leisurewear and knitted woollen apparel. Becoming the first Australian company and one of the first companies in the world to design develop and sell Wool plus Lycra knitwear. 

In 1996 Gusto started its European clothing distribution business across Australia and New Zealand and opened a part-time sample and stock clearance shop. In 2004 the shop expanded into a fulltime men’s and women’s clearance concept continuing to grow its customer database.

Gusto Clothing expand its distribution business including brands such as Max Mara, Gran Sasso, Brax, Patrizia Pepe, Twinset and Paul & Shark, moving into approximately 2000 sq meters of showrooms and warehouse, 15km from the Melbourne CBD.

Due to COVID-19 Gusto was forced to change the sample sale business model, adding an online sample sale store, which proved to be very successful, especially for interstate and international consumers.
