The success story of the Atelier Gardeur began in 1920 in Mönchengladbach where the company remains based to this very day. After initially specialising in trousers for men, Gardeur developed a range for women in 1981, “Gardeur femme”.
In 2007, the company made a clear commitment to sustainable production and was also the first textiles company to bring jeans made from fair trade cotton onto the market.
Manufactured in their own factories, Gardeur ensures transparency and responsibility across all production processes from cutting and sewing to washing and finishing.
